Software Engineer

| Job Responsibilities | - Develop, debug and document web based Java/J2EE applications in accordance with system requirements and provide advanced level development skills to client engagements.
- Apply industry standard object oriented programming best practices and J2EE design patterns.
- Plan, initiate and conduct unit testing of applications as well as facilitate testing and documentation skills.
- Support and troubleshoot applications.
- Understand system performance associated with the introduction of new technologies.
- Find solid solutions to complex problems quickly.
- Work as part of a project team, share technical and product knowledge with other team members.
- Participate in technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts.
- Independently manage time and tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency with at least one development tool/technology.
- Understand and manage SDLC for development projects.

| Qualifications | - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with the ability to use: Java, J2EE, SDLC, and OOP required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Analytical skills & Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Meet with clients to analyze, define and document the user requirements, procedures and solutions to improve the integration of application interfaces to different telecom OSS/BSS applications like Amdocs, Metasolv and Mainframe Provisioning Systems.

- Provide technical support and troubleshoot Century suite applications.
- As a member of a project team, share technical and product knowledge with other team members.
